Heat Advisory issued July 3 at 5:27PM EDT until July 3 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana * WHAT...Heat index values around 100. * WHERE...Fulton IN, Noble, Northern Kosciusko, Pulaski, Southern Kosciusko, Steuben, and White Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. A prolonged period of dangerously hot and humid conditions with little overnight relief will increase impacts to vulnerable populations. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
